Toucan International Market

I have been going to this store for years. I absolutely love it. They have a good assortment of items from different cuisines. The owners are fantastic and always love greeting my little one. They have recently gotten even more items in, specifically for things like hotpot and Korean bbq. I'll be making some this weekend thanks to the stores assortment.

This is the only place that carries Korean BBQ sauce. There's two kinds I make sure to get the beef one I believe it has a red top. I can usually get Korean style cut ribs California style from Sam's club but sometimes they don't have it and I've got to go to the only butcher shop in town. The butcher shops pretty awesome they know exactly what I want, the thin fatty cuts of meat with three little bones in it. I put all the sauce into a metal bowl and then I barbecue them and then I take them off re-dip them in the sauce several times until it gets a nice candy coating. They also carry big bags of sushi rice their pink and white I usually buy the biggest one they have. You're going to want a rice cooker for that. Don't forget to make some good old American potato salad to go with those Korean BBQ ribs 😁👍 I've been seeing melon bread online and I'm just praying that they carry it looks really good. But as far as the store goes in ratings I would say this place is priced perfectly fairly person that's usually there is very nice. I always find a couple of extra things that I want to try the dried squid in the bags is addicting it's like jerky except squid. By the way you can make the sauce homemade using canned pears and soy sauce and sesame seed oil and a few other things just look it up online taste almost exactly the same as the stuff in the store. We just love this market. There is so much to offer for many. The owner is friendly and gives great advice when looking for ingredients of a specific dish.

I'm here nearly every week to stock up on things that our normal grocery won't carry. I've found a ton of great options just by trying new things that quickly became staples in my meals. Can't recommend this place enough!
